I just listened to your interview on the Golf Smarter podcast and was most inspired. After being 20 plus handicapper for the past 20 years, I set a goal this past summer to try and get my game in shape. I learned a lot but didn’t really start improving until just before the golf season here in Kansas faded. This was after listening to an interview with Manuel de la Torre and getting ahold of his book. In listening to your interview, I couldn’t help but notice many similarities in your concepts. I’m wondering if you are familiar with Mr. de la Torre and his teaching and if there are any fundamental differences in your approaches.
Steve Hatfield, Wichita, KS
Steve,
I am happy that you are ready to find “your” game  and not the perfect swing. I am familiar with Manuel. I teach a young man who learned directly from him and he says we are very similar although he thinks I teach more of a whole process where Manual focuses mostly on the finish. I think the most important thing we both would agree upon is the student must use their abilities and not try to copy someone else. You need to learn to play golf and not golf swing. Now go learn how to use what you have and enjoy the experience.
Regards,
Eben Dennis
