Another point of view for 1 Iron Golf

Wednesday, July 29th, 2009

In the past, I’ve posted an unhappy review about the single length golf clubs by 1 Iron Golf, but here’s another review from Golf Smarter listener, Matt:

I bought a full set of used/demo irons (#3 through LW) plus a used driver from 1 Iron Golf a few months ago after listening to your podcast.  All I can say is I’m floored at Rob’s review of the 1 Irons.  In my case I nail every iron in the set at least 5 yards farther than my old Pings and with 100% more accuracy.  I admit that it took about five trips to the range to really get the feel and timing down but once it clicked I was in heaven.  I literally kill the 1 Iron Golf driver so I don’t understand Rob’s comments.  I guess to each his own.  BTW I’m a 10 handicap but going down.

Golf Better contest winner writes in…

Saturday, November 29th, 2008

I just wanted to take the time say Thanks for my new set of Mizuno MP-62 irons that I won on the Golf Better@Edwin Watts Golf podcast drawing. I would also like to thank Kenny for telling me to get fitted. Some of the best free advice I have received. I don’t know if it’s the new clubs or if they are made for me, but they feel great. The only bad thing about the set is they came 3 thru PW. Well, the next best thing to do was to purchase 2 Eidolon wedges. I must say the wedges are great. Everyone sits there and listens to your podcast and wonders if they are going to work. They do. I guess you can say that I now have a golf smarter set of clubs. Now I just need to learn how to golf smarter! I guess that’s what the podcast’s are for, me to figure out how to golf smarter. Keep up the good work, and if you could pass the word along to Kenny and the guys over at Eidolon the same. Can’t wait for the next podcast.
Happy Holidays,
Rob Hensel

You’re not going to believe how excited Kirk Jones is this week on his episode of Golf Smarter Tips. He’s recently discovered a line of natural, holistic products that have him feeling better and more alert. He’s also seen a huge change in his golf game. Both his swing speed and distance have increased.

We invite you to research the line of Univera Products for yourself and let us know what you think. To be introduced to their line of products, go to mynetimpact.com and enter your name and email address and this ID# 1345520 to log in. (You may want to lower the volume on your computer when you log in because music starts immediately.)

There are also a lot of videos about this company on YouTube, and there is also a website dedicated to technical and clinical information for medical practitioners at UniveraScience.com.

We’d really love your honest feedback on this, your emails will go to both Kirk and me. We promise to get back to Kirk’s normal golf instruction next week, but he was so excited about the how much Ageless Xtra has improved his game, that I thought it would be fair to share it with you.

Listener Review of Michael Anthony’s Mental Tips Kit

Wednesday, October 22nd, 2008

We’ve asked GOLF SMARTER listeners who have purchased any product or won a prize on one of our golf podcasts to send us an honest review. The following commentary by Ken Sanford are his thoughts on Michael Anthony’s Mental Keys.  Thanks Ken, great job. We encourage feedback from anyone else with your thoughts. Michael Anthony can be heard every Monday on the Golf Smarter Tips podcast.

My review of Michael Anthony’s Mental Keys kit is necessarily brief and to the point. The simple fact is, if you’re not using his mental keys, you’re not playing the best golf you are capable of. It’s that simple. His mental keys prove without a doubt that all of us have the potential to play a great game, but our biggest problem (or at least my biggest problem) is that we get in our own way. His keys make it much easier to get out of your own way and play the game you were meant to play. The books are very, very good, but the real key to his kit (pardon the pun) is the CD. His CD has been invaluable to my reaching the next level. He prepares you mentally to go into your round, then just as importantly, gets you to learn a lot from your round on the ride home. Now for the good stuff. I was an 18 handicap when I started using his keys. My handicap is down to a 15, and still going much lower, as I’m averaging in the low to mid 80’s when I play now. There isn’t much more to say than that. Would you pay 50-60 bucks to drop your handicap considerably? Then pick up his kit. It’s worth every penny.
