The sky’s the limit on what you can spend on medical bills for your dog. You could get lucky and have a healthy pet or you could be looking at a stack of bills that far exceed your budget. In Sweden, 49% of pet owners insure their dogs; in England nearly 20% of pets are insured. In the U.S., the number is far smaller. On this week’s episode of Good Dog, Joanne speaks with Brian Iannessa of VPI Pet Insurance on the costs and benefits of medical insurance for your dog.
